90 Day Fiance has taken fans by a storm, branching out into several different spinoffs. Since its premiere in January 2014, dozens of couples have come and gone, both on-screen and off! After being constantly reminded of trainwrecks like Danielle and Mohammed or Nicole and Azan, it’s refreshing to remember some of the franchise’s successful couples.
Here are ten fan-favorite couples from 90 Day Fiance that inspire #CoupleGoals, in case you needed some inspiration for the upcoming lovefest on Valentine’s Day!
Loren & Alexei (Season 3)
During a Birthright trip to Israel, Loren met Alexei and instantly fell in love. Alexei proposed to Loren after just 10 days, right before her return home to New York. The couple starred in season 3 of 90 Day Fiance, as well as 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After, where Loren got personal about her Tourette’s Syndrome.
Loren tells Good Housekeeping: “When I was 7 years old I was diagnosed with Tourette’s, and ever since then, I’ve been keeping it a secret”. Luckily Loren overcame her fears and told Alexei’s parents about her Tourette’s, and was embraced with open arms. The two are still happily married, and Loren is currently expecting their first child! They recently celebrated Alexei’s citizenship approval and the pregnancy by having Babymoon on a cruise to The Bahamas! Loren and Alexei star on TLC’s new hit 90 Day spinoff Pillow Talk.
David & Annie (Season 5)
After getting off to more than a bumpy start, Annie and David have become one of the franchise’s favorite couples. David infamously herded water buffalo in Thailand as a part of paying off Annie’s dowry and struggled to find a job once they returned Stateside and lived in his best friend’s storage shed.
The two have recently moved into their own apartment in Scottsdale and frequently make Cameovideos– they have made over $30,000 after the celebration of their 1,000th video! Though they won’t be on this season of Happily Ever After, David and Annie invited fans to join them on their trip to Thailand, according to this Reddit post.
Kyle & Noon (Season 3)
Kyle met Noon on Facebook while researching an upcoming trip to Thailand, and quickly had a new reason to travel abroad! After falling in love during his trip, Noon agreed to move to New Orleans, where bartender Kyle spent his life, before being officially engaged!
Kyle broke down at the airport during Noon’s arrival, and their chemistry in person was undeniable. This adorable duo had a beautiful marriage ceremony in a Buddhist temple. Though they briefly appeared in a few episodes of 90 Day Fiance: What Now?, Kyle and Noon remain under-the-radar, as they’re too normal and drama-free to be juicy enough for the show!
Amy & Danny (Season 2)
This duo was adorable from the get-go. After meeting on a missionary trip to Australia, Mormon Danny and South African Amy fell fast in love and got engaged. Both being virgins very devoted to their faith, they decided to wait until marriage to have sex. They wouldn’t even allow themselves to make out! That didn’t stop viewers from seeing their true love for one another.
Once she landed in the States, Amy lived with one of Danny’s brothers (that makes too many sex jokes) and found herself in a dilemma when Danny’s father seemed unaccepting of her being Black. After her family arrived for the wedding and proved his prejudice wrong, Danny’s father warmed to Amy and accepted her with open arms. Amy and Danny have two children, Jedidiah and Anna, and celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary in July 2019.
Michael & Juliana (Season 7)
Though it came as a surprise to viewers, wine connoisseur Michael and Brazilian model Juliana have pulled through as season 7’s strongest couple. Despite their 20-year age difference, the couple seems to have a great connection and tons of support for one another, regardless of haters and naysayers.
Michael’s two amazingly well-behaved children Max and Cece became the instant MVPs of the season. His ex-wife Sarah, who officiated their wedding, is also incredibly open and became fast friends with Juliana, pouring her love and admiration for Juliana’s difficult upbringing via Instagram. The two recently announced they will be adopting her niece and nephew from Brazil.
Melanie & Devar (Season 3)
Melanie met Devar while vacationing in Jamaica, and returned home an engaged woman. Devar and Melanie came off calm and drama-free, for the most part. Their biggest qualm was how much money Devar was sending home to his family. After starring on season 3 of the hit series, the two married and welcomed daughter Avah in November of 2017.
Melanie and Devar are still happily married to this day; Devar actively shows off his beautiful daughter on his Instagram. The couple also returned in 90 Day Fiance: What Now? and 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After.
Jihoon & Deavan (The Other Way)
Jihoon and Deavan gained the adoration of fans after displaying their love for each other on the show’s new spinoff, 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way. After their first night together, Deavan became pregnant, and moved to South Korea after giving birth to their son, Taeyang, to live with Jihoon and his parents.
After sharing unsettling news that she fled to South Korea after her aunt tried kidnapping and selling her to a sex-trafficking ring, Deavan and Jihoon partook in a fascinating traditional Korean wedding ceremony, Though she recently suffered through a tragic miscarriage, the couple remains happily together.
Alan & Kirlyam (Season 1)
Kirlyam met Alan during his Mormon mission to Brazil when she was just 11 years old (I know it sounds weird), and the two didn’t lay eyes on each other for over a decade, until being invited to the same wedding. Though Alan originally came off as creepy due to their history, fans couldn’t help but fall in love with Kirlyam and her laid-back attitude.
The couple was featured on 90 Day Fiance’s first season, and have been married ever since. They welcomed baby boy Liam in October 2017 after Kirlyam endured 20 hours of labor. The pair are constantly beaming, and couldn’t seem happier. Catch up with Alan and Kirlyam on 90 Day Fiance: What Now?
Kalani & Asuelu (Season 6)
Kalani decided to visit her father’s home roots in Samoa, and ended up engaged to resort-staff worker Asuelu, getting knocked up within a matter of days. Her Mormon family was surprised by the news, fearful of Asuelu’s true intentions. After giving birth to their first son Oliver, Asuelu made the trip to California and tried to win over her unimpressed family.
Shocked by the news of a second pregnancy just weeks before their nuptials, Asuelu and Kalani held it together and prevailed as season 6’s most stable couple. Kalani gave birth to their second son, Kennedy, in May of 2019. The two seem overjoyed and have withstood the test of time.
Matt & Alla (Season 4)
These two divorcees met through a dating website and fell fast in love after Matt traveled to meet Alla’s in her hometown Kyiv, Ukraine. “Fourth times a charm” Matt was remembered for his three previous divorces, and more-than-cringeworthy bachelor party scene featuring his brother threatening to object at the wedding. Alla shocked fans when she admitted to Matt and his friends that she wasn’t fully in love with him, just days before their wedding!
Regardless, the two seem incredibly happy with her 11-year-old son and have remained together since filming season 4 of 90 Day Fiance. Alla has recently begun the process of obtaining her pilot’s license, according to Women’s Health Magazine.
